Mark Penton
Mark Penton comes from New Orleans. He has been
playing music since 1972 as a professional. He has played
with several groups, including Chuck Brown, "The Godfather of Go-Go".
Mark and his band play regularly on Bourbon Street.
As regulars at Bourbon St's "Funky Pirate", Mark & The Pentones play Blues, Funk,
and Rhythm & Blues. His style as a guitarist is a
combination of several influences including Motown,
the Delta blues, James Brown and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
