Tour the swamps with Captain Jerry, of Cajun Encounters.
The bus picks you up in The French Quarter for the forty-five minute ride to the swamp.
It's not what you would imagine. Instead of being dark, smelly, and gloomy, it's
bright, warm and smells like heaven. You can smell the plants and all the
flowers and water.
You'll see alligators, turtles, birds and snakes.
Expect beautiful trees, wild irises, water lilies, short and tall grasses and pretty little
swamp cabbages.
